Trump loyalist sheriff from a wildly right-wing region of Florida, Southwest Florida, and a close friend and confidant of Sean Hannity has abused and continues to abuse disabled Americans and engage in flagrant violations of the ADA concerning persons incarcerated in his Jails (largely minorities) that are disabled.
Sheriff Carmine Marceno of Lee County, Florida is not good with violating the ADA behind closed doors, he has put it in his written highly unlawful jail policies (page 2, section 7(a)) whereby he directs his staff to override disability determinations made by the Social Security Administration (SSA) and then deny all accommodations mandated by the ADA for those in his "care". The policy states that his "medical provider", his jailhouse nurses, can override and negate federal findings of Disability and use this policy to deny ADA accommodations to those lodged in his facilities. The position of the sheriff trumps (Trumps) evaluations of Medical Doctors concerning disabilities and the findings of other medical professionals that have been evaluated by the SSA in detail. This is conduct outside of the norms of civilized behavior and quite illegal. SSA disability determinations take months or years which can be overridden and undermined by the Sheriff's nurses in the blink of an eye.
The law of the land, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), is now just a suggestion along with compliance with SSA disability determinations. After all, Carmine Marceno's largely minority jail population does not deserve human or civil rights in the deviant mindset of this far right monster. One less "bad guy" on the street as a result of Injury or death resulting from the sheriff's disdain for the Rule of Law is a positive in the mind of police state officials such as this sheriff. A true "law and order" and "tough on crime" perspective worthy of adoption by North Korea or Burma.

- The sheriff has implemented a plan to force elderly disabled Americans to sleep on the floors of his jail, strips citizens and places them in 55 degree cells until they become hypothermic, he has refused to supply ADA accommodations to the disabled and he deliberately takes persons in his care off life saving blood pressure medications, maybe this madman's idea to fix jail over-crowding, kill them. Removing a patient, cold turkey, from blood pressure medication is an act consistent with attempted murder. All medical professionals would agree that such behavior places a patient at risk of injury or death.
Since the elections, the federal government is less inclined to advance police state tactics, however, the fascist police state fundamentals are alive and well in large portions of the country with southwest Florida being a stellar example of human rights abuses, civil rights abuses and furtherance of the Trump police state agenda. All in violation of federal law that constitutes the "law of the land".

This sheriff followed and got into every photo-op with Trump, Pence and Hannity like a lost puppy admiring it's master and the policies adopted in stark violation of federal law are an enduring strength of Trump's influence over large portions of the country. Time to just say no to the haters in positions of power inclined to abuse, racism and this unique form of state-sponsored terror used against disabled Americans.
Even Sean Hannity, recipient of an honorary badge from this sheriff, has cleansed his web presence of the connection to this man. Not all of it though Mr. Hannity. Too fascist for even Hannity?
